New Series of Full Flight for Reluctant Readers
Full Flight has been our best-selling series for Reluctant Readers and now we are really excited about the latest series - Full Flight 7. This is a very cool series that no 'switched off reader' could resist! These 10 new books are gripping reads, with an interest age just right for readers age 11-14. They look like 'real' books, so there is no embarrassment. Pages are broken up with superb illustrations whilst vocabulary and word level is appropriate, making these books manageable and supportive. Great stories for pupils who have a reading age of 7 - 7.5 and who see reading as dull!!!
Even more exciting is the inclusion of the story 'Stone Beasts'. Teacher, Richard Taylor, is the winner of the "Write a Full Flight Story" competition and 'Stone Beasts' is his first published book. Phonics Teaching Resource to support Letters & Sounds
We are so excited to launch this product. Written by Michelle Larbey, Primary English Consultant, this product does exactly what it says on the tin - it brings Phonics to life!! Don't be fooled into thinking that this is more of the same 'copymasters'. Phonics will truly be bought to life through poems, dance, drama, music, cookery, word puzzles and more!
One morning with Michelle and the whole Badger team was literally buzzing! We had learnt a traditional tale by heart with all of the actions (laughed at our MD!) and all the time being introduced to phonics, phonemes and graphemes. Phonics does not need to be dry or dull ever again!! Michelle has also penned two tales of her own so there is a fantastic mix of traditional and original stories.
All resources are linked to the phases of Letters and Sounds. 'Linked to Phase 3' is available now. To follow are 'Linked to Phase 5' (May) and 'Linked to Phase 2' (Sept).
