A lively introduction to historical concepts at exactly the right level
Badger History for Foundation and Key Stage 1 brings history alive for young children. Packed with bright, colourful images to fire their imaginations, these materials introduce historical concepts at an appropriate level and are closely linked to literacy and other subjects. Badger History uses:
• Nursery rhymes
• Changes in everyday life
• Stories and legends
• Significant people and past events drawn from the history of Britain and the rest of the world.
Each year of Foundation and KS1 has its own Big Book and Teacher Book. Each Big Book contains 10 themes, with the infant material closely reflecting the National Curriculum.
